The service
Devik is a quote-preparation tool. Amounts generated by the AI are proposals based on YOUR price library: you remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of quotes sent to your clients.
Account and subscription
The free trial requires no credit card. The subscription is billed monthly or annually and can be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. An annual subscription is paid twelve months in advance: cancelling stops the renewal, with no prorated refund for the current period. Your data remains exportable for 90 days after account closure. The price you subscribe at is guaranteed for twelve months from sign-up; after that, your subscription follows the current price list, and any price change is announced at least thirty days in advance.
Your clients' online payments
If you enable card payments on your invoices, your clients' money goes DIRECTLY to your own Stripe account: Devik never collects or holds it. You therefore bear Stripe's transaction fees and are solely responsible for any disputes and chargebacks your clients may raise. Devik charges a service commission on each payment collected, at a rate shown to you before you enable the feature. Opening a Stripe account and accepting its own terms is up to you.
Invoices and accounting records
An invoice issued from Devik is an accounting record: its number is never reused, and an invoice cannot be deleted — it is cancelled, and the trace remains. You remain responsible for the compliance of your invoices (required mentions, tax numbers, applicable rates) and for retaining them under the tax rules of your province.
Online signature
Your clients' online acceptance (name, signature, consent, timestamp, IP address) constitutes evidence stored with the quote. It is your responsibility to verify its legal value for your use and jurisdiction.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. Our liability is limited to the subscription fees of the last three months. We are not responsible for losses caused by a price or quantity error in a quote.
